Nature of Requirements:
TITLE: Rack Type Conveyor Dishwashing, Power Pot Sink, and
Custom Tabling System, Edmonton, AB
REQUIREMENT:
Correctional Services Canada, Edmonton Max Security Institution,
has a requirement for the supply, delivery and installation of
one (1) rack conveyor dishwasher, including tabling, load and
unload area and power sink as outlined in the Request of
Proposal.
MANDATORY TECHNICAL CRITERIA AT SOLICITATION CLOSING:
(a) Compliant with Appendix 1 to Annex A, Minimum Performance
Specifications.
(b) The Contractor must provide a detailed drawing that will
best reflect the ware washing solution, specifications and
drawings provided in the SOW. These drawings must include
changes resulting from the site visit to the multiple
evaluation views for all tabling, and equipment, with
setbacks, and electrical and plumbing connections and
measurements.
(c) The Contractor must provide a Price List for parts
included in the "Warranty Parts Kit" outlined in Annex A -
Requirement.
(d) The Contractor must provide a Preventative Maintenance
plan as per Annex A - Requirement.
(e) Compliance with the Mandatory Site Visit requirement.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than two (2) business days before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form.
Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the
site visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative
will not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will
be rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to
the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
Bidders must notify the Contracting Authority no later than
April 30, 2012 at 11:00 am.
