The Department of National Defence, CFB Esquimalt in Victoria BC
requires the supply, delivery, unloading, installation and
commissioning of two replacement (2) commercial conveyor
Dishwashers.
One of the unit is for the Chief and Petty Officer's Mess, 1575
Lyall St., the other one for the Naden Wardroom Galley, 1585
Esquimalt Rd, both located in Victoria BC.
The two (2) old dishwashers are to be removed from each Galley,
to include disconnecting all Plumbing / Electrical / Cutting
vent hood off as all are welded, and to be transported to 514
Dockyard at CFB Esquimalt.
The two (2) new replacement units are to be delivered to each
Galley, and moved into place and complete all connections,
Plumbing / Electrical / Welding of new vents to the exhaust
ducting, and fitted to the existing tabling. The successful
bidder will also be responsible for start-up and commissioning
of the new units.
All work must be conducted by certified factory representatives
and by personnel in possession of valid BC trade certifications
to complete all electrical, plumbing, and welding tasks
associated with the requirement.
Completion date: March 15, 2013 (MANDATORY).
MANDATORY SITE VISIT: It is mandatory that the Bidder or a
representative of the Bidder visit the work sites. Arrangements
have been made for a site visit to be held on January 04, 2013
at 1575 Lyall Street in Esquimalt, Victoria BC at 10:00 a.m.
PST. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority by
no later than January 02, 2013 to confirm attendance and provide
the names of the person(s) who will attend.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation
and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria and
financial evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The
responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be
recommended for award of a contract.
Bids that address only a portion of the requirement will not be
given further consideration.
