Nature of Requirements:
1. Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN)
An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that a department or agency intends to award a contract for goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.
2. Definition of the requirement
The type of equipment required is a replacment to an older unit that is not servicable anymore. The equipment is used in support of the laboratories labware need.
3. Criteria for assessment of the Statement of Capabilities (Minimum Essential Requirements)
Any interested supplier must demonstrate by way of a statement of capabilities that its product meets the following requirements:

3.1 The glassware washer/dryer must be freestanding, fully automatic and programmable.
3.2 The glassware washer/dryer must be able to wash inside of small-necked laboratory glassware using injectors and open glassware using rotary spraying arm.
3.3 The glassware washer/dryer must be constructed in stainless steel in the exterior, interior and the injection system with a minimal quality of 316L.
3.4 The glassware washer/dryer must be insulated to prevent heat lost (maximal heat lost:=5920 BTU) and reduce noise (max noise level
