THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT.
THE PURPOSE OF THE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS TO OBTAIN
FEEDBACK FROM INDUSTRY ON THE DRAFT GOVERNMENT OF CANADA
STANDARDS FOR THE CONDUCT OF TELEPHONE AND ONLINE PUBLIC OPINION
RESEARCH SURVEYS.
Please note that the consultation period on the Standards for
the Conduct of Government of Canada Public Opinion Research -
Telephone and Online Surveys is being extended to Friday, May
18th, 2012.
In addition, we have included new track changes in the Proposal
Documentation section (page 3) in the attached draft documents
regarding the response rate range. We propose deleting the
reference to the response rate range of 10% and replacing it
with the following:
State the expected response rate / participation rate for the
sample(s). State expected response rates / participation rates
for each mode when more than one mode is proposed. The expected
response rate/ participation rate is an estimation based on
various factors such as previous response rates / participation
rates, trends etc.
