Scanning Dopplar Lidar
The Cloud Physics and Severe Weather Research Section of
Environment Canada, Toronto, ON, requires the supply, delivery,
installation and training of one (1) Scanning Dopplar Lidar
(SDL). The SDL must provide rapid scan (update cycles of ~1
minute), high resolution measurements of planetary boundary
layer wind fields (~10 m range resolution) for research,
application development and demonstration purposes. The
instrument will be located at Toronto Pearson International
Airport but it will also be operated at unmanned at remote
locations in harsh Canadian environments.
All the deliverables must be received on or before March 31,
2016.
The requirement includes the option to purchase an additional
unit and warranty support.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
The evaluation includes mandatory and point rated requirements.
As per the Integrity Provisions under section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2003, bidders must
provide a list of all owners and/or Directors and other
associated information as required. Refer to section
4.21 of the Supply Manual for additional information on the
Integrity Provisions.
