Government of Canada is moving its Government Electronic
Tendering Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders on June
1, 2013
Starting June 1, 2013, federal government tenders (tender
notices and bid solicitation documents) will be published and
available free of charge on a Government of Canada Web site on
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
The Government Electronic Tendering Service on
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders will be the sole authoritative source
for Government of Canada tenders that are subject to trade
agreements or subject to departmental policies that require
public advertising of tenders.

After June 1, 2013, all tenders and related documents and
amendments will be on Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
On June 1, 2013, suppliers must go to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders

have been following on MERX prior to June 1.

Bus Rentals
The Department of National Defence (DND), Regional Cadet Support
Unit Central (RCSU(C)) North Bay Detachment, Hornell Heights, ON
requires the provision of Highway Cruisers, Activity Buses and
School Buses with drivers on an "as and when requested" basis.
The buses are required to transport military personnel from
various pick-up locations throughout Northern Ontario.
The period of the Standing Offer will be for 1 year, estimated
from July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014, with a right to request 2,
1-year extensions under the same terms and conditions.
Types of Buses: Highway Cruisers - 55 and 47 passenger;
School/Activity Bus - 48 passenger, and
School/Activity Bus/Mini-Coach - 16-20.
Offerors may bid on one or more bus type i.e. Highway Cruisers,
Activity Bus and/or School Buses with drivers.
It is therefore anticipated that multiple Standing Offers may be
awarded.
The estimated expenditure for all locations is $130,000.00 per
year, proportionally based on overall annual estimated usages.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
The requirement is limited to Canadian services.
