FORKLIFTS RENTAL
The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the services
of a contractor for the lease, delivery, unloading and pick-up
of lift trucks and a pallet conveyor ("vehicles"), as ordered by
the Quebec City (Valcartier Garrison) and Montreal
(Longue-Pointe, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Saint-Hubert
garrisons) sectors.
Vehicle categories
1. Propane lift truck, capacity of 3,000 lb to 6,000 lb
(including 2 propane cylinders, with a capacity of 33 1/3 lb
each);
2. Electric lift truck, Type Walkie Reach Stacker, capacity of
3,000 lb;
3. Electric pallet conveyor, capacity of 4,000 lb to 6,000 lb;
4. Electric lift truck, capacity of 3,000 lb to 6,000 lb;
5. Propane or diesel lift truck, capacity of 4,000 lb to 8,000
lb;
6. Diesel lift truck, 4-wheel drive, capacity of 5,000 lb to
10,000 lb.

Delivery
The contractor will be responsible for dropping off and picking
up the vehicle(s) within 24 working hours of receiving the
order, or four (4) working hours in the event of an emergency.
The Montreal and Quebec City sectors will be evaluated
separately. We plan to issue one standing offer for the Quebec
City sector and one for the Montreal sector.
The period of the standing offer will be from date of the
Standing Offer to October 31, 2014, with two one-year option
periods.
Value of the standing offer: $1 000,000.00/2 years (GST extra).
Approximatively value for each region:
Quebec City: $400,000.00/1 year (GST extra).
Montreal: $600,000.00/1 year (GST extra).
This PWGSC office provides acquisition services to the public in
both official languages.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
