The Public Health Agency of Canada requires the supply, delivery, installation and one day in person training of a Lyophilizer and accessories. Lyophilization (freeze dry) is a key piece of technology associated with the services and research carried out by Viral Zoonotics and Special Pathogens. This equipment has several core uses that are instrumental to the ability of our division to provide public health services and research related activities. Of utmost importance is the use of a lyophilizer to prepare validated lots of antigen for diagnostic assays.
