public advertising of tenders.

Requirement:
Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) Environmental
Services Division (ESD) Pacific Region has a requirement for
marine/freshwater biological assessment and management services
for PWGSC and other federal clients in British Columbia and
Yukon. Depending upon the project scope and location of work,
the Contractor may be required to complete tasks in accordance
with applicable federal, British Columbia, or Yukon
environmental legislation.
The required services can include:
A) Assessments of marine/freshwater biota, habitats, and related
ecological services and functions;
B) Assessments of marine/freshwater resource protection projects
and programs;
C) Design, implementation and monitoring of marine/freshwater
habitat restoration, rehabilitation, or replacement projects;
D) On-site environmental protection monitoring and supervision
of construction project activities, and
E) Management and control of marine or freshwater invasive
species
Canada intends to award two Task Authorization Contract with a
total estimated spend of $1,120,000.00 (including GST) over four
years.
There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
The requirement is subject to the Comprehensive Land Claim
Agreements in the Yukon Territories.
