Title: Structural Microwave Absorbing Materials

DRDC Atlantic has a requirement for structural composite
microwave materials. The developed structural composite
microwave material may act as a load bearing structure and will
have specific RF (Radio Frequency) characteristics such as
reflection loss over a frequency bandwidth and as a function of
polarization.

Deliverables
In addition to the return of all non-expended items (equipment,
software, books, etc.) acquired by the contractor in support of
this requirement and claimed for against the contract, the
deliverables shall be:

1. Four (4) microwave absorbing panels of dimensions at least
1000 mm x 1000 mm and performance results against design
requirements as specified in Annex A, Statement of Work.
2. Results of performance testing of panels (reflectivity),
including parametric studies.
3. Final Report as specified in Annex A, Statement of Work.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
and/or services.

Bid evaluation will be based on point rated evaluation criteria.
The responsive bid, within the current funding limitation of
$50,000.00, applicable taxes extra, for the currently funded
work, with the highest total overall points will be recommended
for award of a contract.

The work will begin immediately upon contract award and will be
completed by 31st March 2014.
