Digester Mixer
The Department of National Defence (DND), 17 Wing, located in
Winnipeg, Manitoba has a requirement for the supply,
installation and testing of one new Digester Mixer.
17 Wing Construction Engineering (WCE), Water, Fuel and
Environmental (WFE) Section is responsible for the operation and
maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and other
wastewater/water infrastructure within 17 Wing.
The digester assembly is a major component of the WWTP. The
digester mixer is a sub-component of the digester assembly and
has come to the end of its life cycle. The digester mixer
requires replacement due to the corrosive environment in which
it abides.
