Title: Bath, Ontario - Electrical Distribution System Upgrade
Project No.: R.053529.001
Work of this Contract comprises replacement of electrical
feeders, distribution panels, and feeder circuit breakers and
the addition of surge protection at Millhaven Maximum Security
Institution, Bath, Ontario.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT
There will be a site visit on 22 October 2013 at 1:30 pm.
Interested bidders are to meet at the Millhaven Institution,
Search and Control Building MHX located on Highway 33, Bath,
Ontario.
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted.
Bidders must communicate and provide name(s) to the Contracting
Officer, Ambreen Dhillon at (416) 590-8253 by no later than 18
octobre 2013 to ensure that gate passes are issued. ID must be
brought to the site meeting otherwise there will be no access.
SECURITY REQUIREMENT FOR CANADIAN CONTRACTORS - Correctional
Services Canada will be administering their standard security
clearance.
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within
fifty-two [52] weeks from the date of notification of acceptance
of the offer.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

Bid Receiving: Sealed tenders will be received at Public Works

procurement.
