Update the Nunavut mineral showings database and corresponding references by working backwards from the most recent, publically-released, mineral Assessment Reports provided to the contractor by Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada. All updates will be input, as required, into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (.xls, .xlsx) document based on prioritized NTS map areas (provided by the Project Authority). A template of required fields will be provided. Minimum grade requirements (cut-offs) will also be provided for each commodity for the contractor to use in determining what is classified as a showing.
By means of this RFP, NRCan is seeking proposals from bidders for UPDATING NUNAVUT’S SHOWINGS AND REFERENCE ORACLE DATABASE (NUMIN)
The period of the contract shall be from contract issuance till March 31st, 2015, with the option to extend the period of the contract for up to one (1) additional twelve (12) month period.
