Work under this contract includes but is not limited to
Communication Upgrades to Inmate Housing Fire alarm and Door
alarm systems, equipment, modules, programming, software,
conduits and wiring. To also include the removal of all
unnecessary conduit and wiring at Rockwood Institution, Stony
Mountain, Manitoba.
Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms,
special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing,
and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid.
Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid
documents through the GETS service provider on the Government of
Canada Web site at

obtain bid documents from a source other than the official site
run the risk of not receiving a complete package.
This procurement contains MANDATORY requirements. Failure to

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 09:30
AM. Interested bidders are to meet at Rockwood Institution,
Highway #7, Stony Mountain, Manitoba at the Construction
Trailer. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the
specified date and time will not be given an alternative
appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
