to the time zone from Eastern Daylight Saving Time EDT to
Eastern Standard Time EST **
PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: Project number R.031559.061, Upgraded
doors, Blackburn Building and Central Post Office (Ottawa Postal
Station B), Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
Project description: This project was integrated to provide
upgraded doors for a total of 21 doors for the Blackburn and
Postal B Buildings.
Work is to be completed within fourteen (14) weeks after
contract award.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on October 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
Interested bidders shall meet at the Security Desk - Main
entrance, 11 Metcalfe Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
Due to the nature of the requirement and in order to gain access
to the site, all bidders must submit the name (legal name) and
date of birth for each individual that will be attending the
site visit. This information which is to be verified by the
Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) is to be
submitted to the Contracting Authority by e-mail at
jacques.d'a••••@••••••••.••.ca or by facsimile at
819-956-8335 no later than 11:00 a.m., October 17, 2013. It is
the responsibility of the bidders to ensure that the Contracting
Authority is in receipt of this information by the date and time
specified.
Each Contractor will be advised as to the status of his request
prior to the site visit. No-one unless confirmed with required
verification by CISD will be permitted access to the site.
