DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
1. Subject matter of the contract:
The work required is located at the Cap-de-Bon-Désir, Interpretation and Observation Center of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park, which is under the responsibility of Parks Canada.
The Centre hosts tourists and provides interpretation services regarding marine environment.
2. The work to be carried out within this contract includes but is not limited to:
1. Transportation and the relocation of two gatehouses, as well as their installation.
2. Excavation and preparation of granular foundations under the concrete slabs and curbs and areas to be repaved.
3. The construction of concrete slabs/sidewalks and concrete curbs.
4. Application of an asphalt overlay and pavement markings.
5. Installation of bollards and planting shrubs and plants.
6. Electrical work.
7. Renovation of a gatehouse.
8. Renovation of a service building and replacement/addition of miscellaneous equipment.
9. Insulation work of a crawl space within a service building.

Bid security is required.
Contractors must have $5,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Coverage.
