PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:
High/Low Voltage System Upgrade, Confederation Building, 229
Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. Project # R.069893.001
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The goal of this project is to address risks associated with the
building electrical system components by upgrading the outdated
electrical equipment and devices that have passed their useful
life. The majority of the electrical distribution equipment and
devices were installed as part of a major electrical upgrade in
1975 and therefore 40 year old
Work is to be completed within thity four (34) weeks after
contract award.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
For further instructions please consult "Special Instruction to
Bidders", SI09, "Security related requirements" and
"Supplementary Conditions" SC01 "Security related requirements"
of the Invitation to Tender documents.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be site visit on March 03, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance to the
Confederation Building, 229 Wellington Street, Ottawa Ontario.
Please Note: The names of each individual attending the site
visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they
represent, must be provided to the Contracting Officer by
February 26, 2015 in order to gain access to the site.
Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch). Bidder's personnel / individuals who do not have the
proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.

Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no
