TITLE :
PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT TOOL BASED ON DISC MODEL
DESCRIPTION :
The Canada School of Public Service is committed to promoting a
strong corporate culture in the Public Service, creating a
culture of learning, and being a catalyst and resource for the
ongoing development of the Public Service as a learning
organization.
The use of a personality assessment tool based on the DISC
(Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance) model is
required. The DISC model of personality assessment, like other
personality models, provides a guide and a perspective of
personality. Due to its relative simplicity, descriptiveness and
flexibility, the DISC model is considered by the School as a
good tool to improve communication skills, relationship building
skills, teamwork, and leadership effectiveness. The tool will
help participants in their professional development by allowing
them to gain a better understanding of themselves and others, as
well as providing them with ways to adapt their interactions
with others in the workplace.
The solicitation is intended to result in the award of 1 (one)
contract for 1 (one) year, and up to 1 (one) irrevocable year
option allowing Canada to extend the term of the Contract.
