This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number W7719-135217/A dated January 14, 2013 with a
closing of February 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM. A debriefing or
feedback session will be provided upon request to
bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

Modelling and Simulation

Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC), Toronto, ON, is
exploring the development and use of computer models of
operators performing complex tasks, Human Behaviour
Representations (HBRs), and related technologies to predict
operator performance in complex environments supporting
Modelling & Simulation (M&S) for the Department of National
Defence.

DRDC is seeking consulting services for the following objectives:

The provision of technical investigation and R&D supporting the
development of computational models of human behaviour
representing fundamental aspects of human cognition such as
thinking, learning, memory, emotion, judgement and decision
making.

The provision of technical investigation and R&D support to the
integration of computational models of human cognition into a
unified HBR architecture; and

The provision of M&S and engineering support to the integration
of HBR architectures within other third-party simulation systems
and technologies applied to R&D, acquisition support, rehearsal
and training relevant to DND.

Work will be performed on an as and when requested basis during
a three year period from date of award with two, one year option
periods.
