Title: Finite Element Modelling of the Acoustic Properties of
Rubber Containing Inclusions

The closing date has been extended by two additional days and
will close 2013-10-25 at 2:00 p.m.

The purpose of this work is to develop finite element numerical
modelling tools for investigating the acoustic properties of
elastomeric materials containing various types of inclusions,
and to use these tools to study a number of examples from the
literature, as well as cases provided by the Project Authority.
Finite element tools will be developed for modelling the
acoustic behaviour of a viscoelastic matrix with periodically
distributed inclusions. Comparisons with previously published
results will be used to provide validation that the models have
been correctly implemented. This contract requires expertise
and experience in using finite element software for solving
vibroacoustic problems involving viscoelastic materials.

Time Schedule:
To begin upon contrct award and completed by March 15, 2014.

Basis of selection: will be based on the highest point rated
complient bid within budget.

Funding:
The maximum funding available for the Contract resulting from
the bid solicitation is $60,000.00 + applicable taxes.
