Work Description:
Work under this Contract comprises of the upgrading of some
existing Cell Detention Doors & some Hardware where required
(some hardware to be reused), at Various Institutions in the
Fraser Valley. Contract also includes removel and disposal of
existing doors and materials as noted, some additional work as
noted on drawings and remedial work as required where affected
by modifications. This contract includes doors at the following
Institutions:

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within twelve (12) weeks.

Site Visit Date:
A site visit has been scheduled for 6th January 2014 @ 9:30 AM
PST. Contractors are to meet at the PWGSC site office at
Matsqui Institution, 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC. The site
visit will continue to all locations noted above. Contractors
are to note that this is not a mandatory site visit and is
optional. However, it is recommended that contractors visit the
site prior to closing.

All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets
WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site
visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop
computers are allowed into institutions at any time.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
$100,000.00 - 110,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through GETS - Buy and Sell.
Addenda, when issued will be available from GETS - Buy and Sell.
Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation)
documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk
and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling
authority of their intention to bid. In all cases, bidders must
indicate (when requested) in the space provided on the tender
form the identification number (s) of the addenda, if any, that
they have taken into consideration for their bid.

This procurement office provides procurement services to the
public in English.
