Amendment No.001 is being issued to include Addendum 001 and to
extend the solicitation closing date.

Extension of Time. Notice is hereby given that the closing date
for the reception of tenders previously due 17 July 2012 is
extended to 14:00 hours, 19 July 2012.

Addendum 1 - See MERX Attachment 2.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
Correctional Services Canada has a requirement for HVAC
modifications to Building A, located at 2000 Beaver Creek Road,
Gravenhurst, ON.

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications entitled Fenbrook Institution, Modifications to
Building A: Rooms A103, A203 and A207, Project Number
R.052361.001 dated 2012-06-08 forming part of the bid document.

The duration of work is scheduled to be completed within 10
weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. Arrangements have
been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be
held on the 10th July 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders are to meet at
Fenbrook Institution, 2000 Beaver Creek Road, Gravenhurst, ON.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority, Mary Caporusso, at (416) 512-5859 or e-mail:
m••••••••@•••••.••.ca, two (2) days before the scheduled
visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the
person(s) who will attend. The representative of the bidder
will be required to sign Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the
visit.

Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment. Any clarifications or changes
to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Contractors
must bring picture ID. No pictures will be allowed and no cell
phones can be brought into the Institution.

Bid Security is a requirement for this tender.

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Bidders should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and
contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services Canada and may be viewed on the
MERX electronic bulletin board as part of the information
