Replacement of Engines and Shafts for CCGS 50' landing barge
onboard the CCGS Louis St. Laurent.

The Canadian Coast Guard in St. John's Newfoundland has a
requirement to re-power and replace underwater gear on the 50ft
landing barge belonging to the CCGS Louis St. Laurent. The
re-powering will replace the existing Rolls Royce diesel engines
with Perkins diesel engines. The underwater gear that will be
replaced will include shafting, propellers, couplings, resin
fluid damper(s) and the existing stuffing box flax material and
all water lubricating bearings. All gear will be Coast Guard
supplied.

Work Period: June 6, 2012 to June 20, 2012.

procurement.
