Nature of Requirements:
Snowmobile Spare Parts, Edmonton, Alberta.
The Department of National Defence, Edmonton, Alberta has a
requirement for the supply and delivery of various parts for the
following snowmobile models:
1. 2005 Skidoo Skandic SWT 550F;
2. 2004 Skidoo Legend GT 550F;
3. Arctic Cat Bearcat 570XT;
4. 2013 Polaris Sportsman 500 HD.
Parts supplied must be new and conform to the latest issue of
the applicable drawing, specification and part number that is in
effect on the bid solicitation closing date.
If the Bidder proposes to supply any part with an alternative
Part Number, the Bidder must provide, either with its bid or
within 3 working days following receipt of a request from the
Contracting Authority, all the technical information (e.g.
drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and/or test
reports) necessary to clearly demonstrate that the part proposed
has the form, fit and function characteristics equivalent to the
Part Number(s) specified in the bid solicitation.
Failure to provide the required technical information will
result in the bid being declared nonresponsive with respect to
any part for which such information was requested.
Bidders must demonstrate that they can supply at least 80% of
parts for one or more of the snowmobile model(s) in order be
declared compliant.
Parts for each snowmobile model will be evaluated separately.
More than one Contract may be awarded in response to this
solicitation.
This requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
