Amendment No.1 - Notice for Proposal Procurement (NPP)
The purpose of this Solicitation Amendment is to extend the
Closing Date
From: 20 June 2013
To: 26 June 2013
Requirement
(a) Prepare the technical portion of a refit specification for
the Canadian Coast Guard Hovercraft CCGH Siyay in accordance
with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the
Statement of Work and Project Management Services attached as
Annexes A and H in the main solicitation. For specifications,
drawings, test sheets, annexes and appendices, bidders are
requested to contact the Contracting Authority identified in the
bid solicitation.
(b) Carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in
paragraph a. above
Work Period
Work must commence and be completed as follows:
Commence: 08 July 2013;
Complete: 31 October 2013.
Bidders Conference and Viewing
A bidders' conference will be held at the Canadian Coast Guard
Base at Sea Island, 4266 Inglis Drive, Richmond, B.C., Canada
V7B 1L7 on 13 June 2013. The conference will begin at 11:00 AM
(Pacific Time), in the Hangar Library.
The vessel viewing will take place immediately following the
Bidders' Conference.
Destination
The work shall be performed by the Contractor at the
Canadian Coast Guard Base at Sea Island and at their own site.
Sourcing Strategy
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Western Canada, in accordance with the
Shipbuilding Procurement Policy (19/12/96) subject to the
Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt
from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and
from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
