The seals will be collected whole by the contractor and be brought back to shore. The contractor will store the seals and thaw them at a later date when requested by DFO Science. When thawed, DFO personnel (3 people) will travel to the contractor’s home port and will collect morphometric measurements and samples (jaws, stomachs, reproductive organs, tissue). The contractor will assist with the collection of these samples.
