Request for Response for Evaluation to Pre-qualify Combat System Integrators and Warship Designers for the Combat Canadian Surface Combatant ProjectPURPOSECanada is re-opening the opportunity to qualify to participate in the on-going Canadian Surface Combatant Project Procurement Process with solicitation W847S-150033/B.
Qualifying under the Request for Response for Evaluation (RFRE) is the first step of the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Procurement Process. Every Respondent that has demonstrated compliance with the terms stipulated in this RFRE document will be added to the existing list of Short Listed Respondents and, subject to applicable security requirements, will be invited to participate in the CSC Procurement Process which is already underway.
The requirements for qualification are unchanged from the 2015 RFRE solicitation. Short Listed Respondents that have qualified through RFRE W847S-15033/A do not have to re-qualify.
The questions and answers associated with the RFRE W847S-15033/A solicitation continue to apply to W847S-150033/B and have been archived on buyandsell.gc.ca for reference. Please note that changes to the 2015 RFRE arising from questions and answers have been incorporated into RFRE W847S-150033/B.
Respondents may submit their responses at any time prior to the closing date.
On-going industry engagements with the existing list of Short Listed Respondents will continue during the solicitation and assessment phases of this RFRE. Firms which qualify as Short Listed respondents will be able to participate in the engagements only after being advised that they have succeeded in qualifying and after they have met the applicable security requirements. Industry engagements that have been completed or are in process at the time of such qualification will not be repeated or delayed for SLRs that have newly qualified.
