Requirement: The Department of National Defence requires Window
Cleaning Services for its buildings at the Canadian Forces Base
located in Trenton, Ontario and its satellite buildings located
at Point Petre, Carrying Place, Mountainview, Peterborough and
Belleville, Ontario as listed in Annex "B" - Window Cleaning,
List of Buildings. The term of the contract will be from 1
January, 2013 to 31 December, 2013 with Canada having the
irrevocable option to extend the contract by four (4) periods of
one year up to 31 December, 2017.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on November 6, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 14 Alert
Blvd., CE Conference Room, Trenton, ON. Bidders must communicate
with the Contracting Authority no later than 2 day(s) before the
scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the names of
the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign
an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids that
they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or
send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

procurement.
