Requirement:
The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement for the repair of
four (4) controllable pitch propeller blades for the CCGS Samuel
Risley stationed in Parry Sound, Ontario. All Controllable
Pitch Propeller Blades shall be repaired in accordance with
Transport Canada Marine Safety (TCMS) and Lloyd's Register of
Shipping requirements in effect for this type of propeller blade
repair.
The Contractor shall arrange and be responsible for shipment and
cost of the four (4) controllable pitch propeller blades from
their storage location in Parry Sound, Ontario to the
contractors repair facility and back to the Canadian Coast
Guard, Parry Sound, Ontario upon completion of the repair work.
Destination:
The work shall be carried out at the Contractors repair facility.
Delivery:
December 10, 2012
Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance
with the Shipbuilding, Repair,Refit and Modernization Policy.
This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade
(AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10,
Annex 1001.2b, General Notes and from the WTO-AGP (see Appendix
I, Annex 4).
Delivery Date: 10/12/2012
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
