Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement
This requirement is for: Department of National Defence (DND)
The requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 2 in the National Capital Region under the EN578-055605 series of SAs for the following categories:
B.1 Business Analyst, Level 2;
B.3 Business Consultant, Level 2;
B.5 Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) Consultant, Level 3;
B.9 Courseware Developer, Level 3;
B.14 Technical Writer, Level 2;
I.1 Data Conversion Specialist, Level 2;
P.6 Project Administrator, Level 2;
P.9 Project Manager, Level 3; and
P.11 Quality Assurance Specialist/Analyst, Level 3.
Description of the requirement: The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for informatics professional services in support of the evolution of the tool-set and processes and the rationalization and optimization of Information Technology (IT) services provisionedacross DND, Canadian ArmedForces (CAF). The key objectives of the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Project are to implement required systems, tools, and services and to address the rationalization and optimization of IT services provisioned across DND/CAF, with the implementation of a new service delivery and governance model, based on the concept of centralized control and distributed execution to support the evolution of enterprise service delivery and management. The anticipated outcome of this transformation is a leaner, more efficient and responsive service-focused organization.
It is intended to result in the award of one contract.
Proposed period of contract: The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocableoption to extend the contract period for up to two additional one-year periods.
