The North Red Deer River Water Services Commission (NRDRWSC) is undertaking an expansion of its regional potable-water transmission system from the Town of Ponoka area to Ermineskin Cree Nation (ECN). The expansion will provide a safe and assured supply of treated water to ECN.
NRDRWSC intends to call tenders this fall for the installation, by horizontal directional drilling (HDD), of approximately 22 km of 600 mm HDPE DR11 water main. Stantec Consulting Ltd. is the Commission's general engineering consultant and will receive tenders following authorization by the Commission.
