Work Description:
Supply and Installation of electrical, communications and
electronic safety and security and any related section.
Site Visit:
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted.
Bidders who wish to attend must also complete and submit the
Institutional Access CPIC Clearance Request (Annex A) (one form
per site meeting attendee) to Ruth Mestry, the Contracting
Authority (fax: 604-775-6633) no later than 4:00 p.m. local time
on 18 May, 2012. A maximum of two (2) representatives per
bidder will be permitted to examine the sites.
A Manadatory Site Visit has been scheduled for 29 May 2012 at
10:00 am local time. Interested Bidders are to meet at the
CORCAN Construction Site Office located at 33344 King Road,
Abbotsford, B.C. (follow main road into complex, follow signs).

The work is to be completed by 31 March 2013.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
$450,000.00 to $550,000.00.
Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX services
provider. Addenda when issued will be available from the MERX
services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid
calling authority on their intention to bid. In all cases,
bidders must indicate (when requested) on the tender form the
identification number(s) of the addenda, if any, that they have
taken into consideration for their bid submission.

public in English.
