Realignment, Central Experimental Farm (CEF), Ottawa, Ontario
Project description:
The project consists of the installation of new conduit
infrastructure to accommodate the realignment of the IT cabling
on the Central Experimental Farm (CEF), Ottawa, Ontario.
Construction will be completed by directional drilling whenever
possible. The construction related to the new infrastructure
will pass for the most part near buildings and along roadways.
Work is to be completed within twenty (20) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $1,000,001 to $5,000,000.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on August 21, 2013 at 10:00 A.M.
Interested bidders shall meet at Central Experimental Farm, 960
Carling Avenue (Neatby building), main entrance (on Carling Ave.)
Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch) and hard hats are also required. Contractor
personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire
will be denied access to the site.
