Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) requires a Standing
Offer for the provision of Minor Marine Dredging services
throughout Central Newfoundland. Central Newfoundland for this
requirement is defined as East of and including Jackson's Arm
and McCallum, west of but not including Clarenville and Long
Harbour (Fortune Bay). The work covered under this Standing
Offer consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour,
equipment, hardware and material to carry out minor marine
dredging and disposal of Class "B" material.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 29, Item 1.9 Project/Site
Conditions of specifications before performing any site
inspection or preliminary work on site.
The term for the standing offer is for two years, on an "as and
when required basis". A standing offer is an agreement and not
a contract. The Crown reserves the right to award more than one
standing offer for this requirement.
Bidders must refer to Standard Instructions - 2006 (2013-06-01)
for the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions applicable
to this requirement.
