Notice of Proposed Procurement
Item Required: Trouser, Blue, Officer’s
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 1240 Trouser, Blue, Officer’s (1080 male and 160 female). This requirement includes an option quantity of up to 400 Trouser, Blue, Officer’s which can be exercised within 36 months of contract award. This requirement also includes special stock quantities (“as and when requested” made-to-measure sizes) of up to 40 Trouser, Blue, Officer’s (25 male and 15 female) which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award.
This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-264 dated 2016-06-17, viewing sample and patterns. Specification documents can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.
This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods (See AIT - Article 504, paragraph 6).
The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract).
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Bids must be submitted only to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the RFP.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
