SCOPE OF WORK
.1 Provide all materials, labour, equipment, and services necessary to complete all work
described in the plans and specifications including, but not limited to:
.1 Protective measure for Existing vegetation;
.2 Demolition and removal of asphalt paving and base, concrete curb,
existing retaining wall, existing catch basins, concrete stair and metal
railing, and all other item indicated in the contract document.
.3 Excavation, backfilling and grading require for the work indicated in
the contract document;
.4 Installation of two new catch basins and related work;
.5 Supply and installation of a new asphalt pathways (including granular
base as indicated in the contract document);
.6 Supply and installation of new concrete stairs with limestone cladding;
.7 Supply and installation of new concrete footing and concrete wall with
limestone cladding;
.8 Supply and installation of concrete unit paver (including granular base,
layering course and anchor or concrete mud slab, as indicated in the
contract documents);
.9 Relocation of existing trash cans and recycle bin;
.10 Supply and installation of top soil, sodding and all plant material;
.11 Supply and installation of four (4) bike rack as indicated in the
contract document;
.12 Supply and installation of steel hand rail on stairs as indicated in the
contract document;
.13 Supply and installation of new signage as indicated in the contract
document;
.14 Raising of three (3) concrete base for lamp post and all associates
work as indicated in the contract document;
.15 Rehabilitation of all disturbed areas
A NON MANDATORY site visit will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10am Ottawa time. The exact meeting place is on site off of Rockcliffe Parkway, Ottawa, ON. All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The NCC will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit. Please contact Marie-Andrée Bureau at 613-239-5678 ext. 5268 to confirm your attendance at this NON MANDATORY site visit and to gain access to the grounds
