Public Services and Procurement Canada, on behalf of Environment and Climate Change Canada, has a requirement for site remediation of the Pacific Environment Centre (PEC) in West Vancouver. Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Excavating, transporting, and disposing of approximately 75,170 cubic metres of contaminated soil from Base Excavation Areas; An optional amount of excavation, transport and disposal of approximately 12,900 cubic metres of contaminated soil; Excavating, stockpiling, and placing approximately 46,740 cubic meters of non-contaminated overburden backfill from Overburden Areas; Screening up to approximately 5,000 cubic metres of contaminated soil for gravels and cobbles; Transporting and disposing of approximately 220 tonnes (110 cubic metres) of previously excavated sulfur containing soil; Crushing approximately 1100 cubic meters of previously stockpiled rock.
