Please note that late submissions will not be considered or accepted. Work on this Contract comprises general construction and upgrades to the Structured Intervention Unit (SIU) at Stony Mountain Institution (SMI). The SIU is approx. 2400 sq meters over 2 floors and a mezzanine. The upgrades include, but are not limited to: · HVAC system replacement including air handling unit and hydronic heating system. · HVAC control system and connection to the Powerhouse, · Renovate various rooms including the installation of new doors and frames. · Replace security glazing. · Construct 2 weather shield roof structures in courtyards. · Replace security grilles. · Replace toilets and sinks in 40 cells. · Upgrade existing electronic security systems including closed circuit television, public address, inmate cell call system, door control system and limited intercom system. · new LED lighting · new epoxy flooring · new painting throughout.
