REISSUE OF BID SOLICITATION

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 5P468-26-0044/A dated July 9, 2026 with a closing of July 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM MDT. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.

REQUIREMENT

Parks Canada Agency requires a Contractor to complete the St. Andrew’s Manse Shingle Roof Replacement project at the Dawson Historical Complex National Historic Site of Canada in Dawson City, Yukon. St. Andrew’s Manse is a Recognized Federal Heritage Building and is currently used for staff housing. The work must be completed in a manner that protects the heritage character of the building and avoids irreversible damage to existing building components.

The work includes, but is not limited to, removing existing cedar shingles from the roof and dormer walls; replacing damaged underlayment, flashing, and roof sheathing as required; installing new cedar shingles to match the size and exposure of the existing shingles; installing new galvanized flashings at eaves, valleys, windowsills, roof penetrations, ridges, and hips; and repairing or replacing damaged wood trims, mouldings, and fascia, including repainting trims located above the soffit line.

The building will remain occupied during the construction period. The Contractor will be required to coordinate the work with Parks Canada, protect occupants and adjacent property, maintain safe access, manage site safety and environmental protection requirements, and complete the work within the required project schedule. The work must be completed by November 15, 2026.

TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS

This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide further qualifications and a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings.

Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.

Potential and interested sub-contractors are invited to add their company’s name under the section “Partner with another business”
