THIS AMENDMENT IS BEING RAISED TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION
effective immediately due to modifications in the scope of work.
This work may be re-solicited at a later date.

TAKE NOTE: THIS AMENDMENT IS BEING RAISED TO EXTEND THE
SOLICITATION CLOSING DATE FROM January 23, 2013 at 2pm to
February 21, 2013 at 2pm.

NOTE TO BIDDERS: Important changes to the Code of Conduct that
require your attention have been introduced in the Invitation to
Tender documents. These changes are effective immediately.

PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.010720.011, Chilled Water Extension -
Phase I, MacDonald Cartier Bridge Abutment, Ottawa, Ontario

Project description: Install new chilled water, steam and
condensate piping between manhold 3A and the MacDonald Cartier
Bridge.

Work is to be completed within forty (40) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: Category 5 $1,000,001 to $5,000,000.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on January 9, 2013, at 10am.
Interested bidders shall meet at the MacDonald Cartier Bridge
abutment. See Annex A - Map of location of the work.

Safety Attire - It is required that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch) . Hard hats and safety glasses are also required.
Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper
safety attire may be denied access to the site.
