An SA is a method of supply used by Public Works and Government Services Can
ada to procure goods and services.A SA is an arrangement between Canada and pre-qualified suppliers that allows identified users to solicit bids from a pool of pre-qualified suppliers for specific requirements within the scope of a SA. A SA is not a contract for the provision of the goods and services described in it and neither party islegally bound as a result of signing a SA alone. The intent of a SA is to esta blish a framework to permit expeditious processing of individual bid solicitations which result in legally binding contracts for the goods and services described in those bid solicitations.
Pre qualified suppliers for which a SA has already been issuedunder E60HN-11ELEC/B, and which is still valid, do not have to submit a new arrangement.
