The Carling Campus Project will provideofficespace to accommodate up to 8,500 Department of National Defence (DND) personnel who will move into 14 interconnected buildings at 3500 Carling Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario from up to 40 different National Capital Area (NCA) locations.
The procurement offurniture will be done in two distinct phases and will require a variety of procurements.
Phase 1 Workstations:
Creation of a Standing Offer (SO) for approximately 4,500 workstations (this SO is already issued)
Creation of a Standing Offer for collaborative furniture (this SO is already issued)
Use of existing procurement instruments to procure a variety of furniture (on-going)
Phases 2 and 3 Workstations:
A Letter of Interest (LOI) was issuedfor feedback on the creation of a new procurement instrument for approximately 4,500to6,000 workstations. PWGSC intended to use a solutions based approach which would have allowed suppliers to offer new furniture, remanufactured furniture, refurbished furniture, or a combination of different types of furniture.
Upon receiving Respondent’s comments, concerns, and participation in an Industry Day, Phases 2 and 3 Workstations were determined to be split into two solicitations.
This Request for Individual Standing Offer (RISO) of up to 1,500 remanufactured workstations is the secondof the two solicitations for Phases 2 and 3. Items listed in this RISO to be purchased on an "as required" basis include but are not limited to; glazed panels, tasklights, coat hooks, power/communication poles andmobilepedestals.
Further future procurements will be solicited for Phases 1, 2 and 3 including but not limited to:
freestanding furniture
seating
secure filing
filing
meeting/AV furniture
LAN/racking

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
