In order to support the CPC 2.0 Community Mailbox (CMB) Conversion as well as normal CMB growth and lifecycle replacement requirements, Canada Post has a requirement for:
- Concrete products, such as precast concrete pads, ballasted bases and other similar products, to be used in the installation of CMBs across the country; and
- Associated tooling, storage and delivery.
Canada Posts requirements have been divided into the following 5 regions:
Region 1. Quebec and Atlantic
Region 2. Ontario
Region 3. Prairie East: Manitoba and Saskatchewan
Region 4. Prairie West: Alberta
Region 5. Pacific
Suppliers can respond to provide the requirements in one, multiple or all regions. The Supplier must produce products from a CPCI certified manufacturing plant(s) within each Region it is submitting a proposal for.
The objective of this RFP is to:
- Compete and award 2015 concrete product requirements; and
- Establish up to 3 Standing Offer Agreements (“SOAs”) per Region to compete and award 2016-2019 requirements.
The anticipated term of any resulting SOA is one year with the option to renew for four additional 1 year periods.
