This amendment is to publish a Question & Answer regarding the requirement of this Request for Proposal.

National Research Council has a requirement for the supply of two downdraft surgical stations and integrated anesthetic monitoring and support systems, including installation, training and manuals, as per specifications detailed in the Request for Proposal.
Delivery and installation to Ottawa, Ontario must be completed no later than March 31, 2017.
Arrangements for an optional site visit have been made to be held at 1200 Montreal Road, Building M-54, Ottawa, ON on August 30, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00 am EDT.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than August 26, 2016 2:00 pm to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resultingfrom the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
