On June 11, 2025, Canada issued an Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) (Solicitation CW2405177 / Client Ref No. 1000519614 – 47419-269614) allowing for Interested Parties to pre-qualify for Chemical Detection Systems in 4 streams. Stream 1 – Ion Mobility Spectrometers (IMS); Stream 2 – Infrared Spectrometers (IR), Stream 3 – Mass Spectrometers (MS), and Stream 4 – Raman Spectrometers (Raman). The ITQ closed on July 17, 2025 at 1400hrs EDT. This notice serves to announce the Qualified Respondents (QR) as a result of the responses received from the ITQ. ITQ Evaluation Results:
The QRs are (in alphabetical order):

Stream 1 – Ion Mobility Spectrometers
a. Rapiscan Systems; and b. Smiths Detection Montreal Inc.
Stream 2 – Infrared Spectrometers
a. 908 Devices Inc.; b. Agilent Technologies Canada Inc.; and c. Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Stream 3 – Mass Spectrometers
a. 908 Devices Inc.; b. AB Sciex LP; c. Agilent Technologies Canada Inc.; d. Thermo Fisher Scientific; and e. WATERS LIMITED. Stream 4 – Raman Spectrometers a. Agilent Technologies Canada Inc.; b. Pendar Technologies Inc.; c. Rigaku Analytical Devices Inc.; d. Scatr Inc.; and e. Thermo Fisher Scientific. At this time, only the listed QRs will be invited to participate in the subsequent phases of the Chemical Detection Systems procurement process.
