The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) intends to establish a contract with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) for the purchase of data related to the residential resale market. . CREA will be providing detailed geography-specific data on active listings, new listing, sales, and prices for areas across Canada at both a national and provincial level as well as for smaller geographic areas. Furthermore, CREA will provide data on resales by price range at a neighbourhood-level for a number of centres across Canada.
The initial term of this contract is expected to be for 1 year with the option to renew at CMHC’s discretion for 2 subsequent 1-year periods. The value of this service contract is expected to range from $35,000 and $45,000 exclusive of all applicable taxes.
