C.000441B - HOUSING OF THE 430 TACTICAL HELICOPTERS SQUADRON
VALCARTIER (QC)
(WITH SECURITY REQUIREMENTS)
PURPOSE OF THIS ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a project with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
This project aims to procure the services of general contractors and sub-contractors to build a new building of 1,849m2 and the demolition of four existing buildings for the 430 logistics tactical squadron housing.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES
Work included in this project:
- Access control installation;
- General contractor services;
- Intrusion alarm;
- Electricity.
The estimated value of this project is around 9.9M$
It is anticipated that this procurement will be initiated in the Fall of 2015. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by the DND.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
For this contract, contractors and sub-contractors will be required to hold a valid FACILITY SECURITY CLEARANCE (FSC) at the CONFIDENTIAL level, with approved DOCUMENT SAFEGUARDING at the CONFIDENTIAL level, issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
The Contractor personnel and sub-contractors requiring access to CLASSIFIED information, assets or sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid personnel security screening at the level of CONFIDENTIAL, granted or approved by the CISD, PWGSC.
PROCESS
Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consulta… Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to May 19th 2015 quoting the following information:
- Contract number C.000441B; and
- Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
Contractors that have been sponsored through the ISP, are in the process of obtaining their clearance and are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement are to send an email to I••••••••@•••••••.••.ca indicating:

- Contact person
- Level of clearance previously requested to be sponsored for
- Organization number assigned by CISD (if received)
