Description of Work:
The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) has a requirement for one (1) Programmer Analyst - Level 3 to update and upgrade the IRB's public facing website so that it complies with the Government of Canada standard, including accessibility requirements. The resource will receive specific task assignments from the Team Leader and also interact with other team members, other teams, and representatives of the Business community. The technology platform includes but is not limited to MS SharePoint 2007/2010/2013/2016, VB.NET/C# 3.5/4.0/4.5 frameworks, Visual Studio 2013/2015/2017, MS-SQL 2008 and higher, SSRS, and Dev Express for Windows forms.
Scope of Wok:
The resource shall be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Support the Development Team Lead and act as a team leader if required;
Mentor other members of the team;
Perform code review;
Create and update technical documentation for further references;
Prepare and give presentations of technical documentation strategies for management level;
Assess and address Problem Reports as required;
Implement Change Requests as per client requirements;
Document issues, alternatives, risks, and strategies;
Prepare weekly status reports and participate in team meetings;
Ensure that tasks, work-packages and other deliverables are completed in accordance to the overall project plan
Bidders must propose one (1) resource.
There is no contractor (No incumbent) doing the work right now.
