Through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), Canada supports the Government of Senegal in developing and implementing its national geomatics plan (PNG).
By means of this RFP, NRCan is seeking proposals from bidders for equipping decision makers (the central government, technical services, local communities) with geospatial tools for measuring and analyzing disparities in people’s access to basic social services. These tools will specifically help:
? to identify areas lacking in basic social services and to indicate levels of disparity;
? to enlighten subsequent decisions by decision makers regarding the provision of infrastructures and services;
? to develop priority action plans for providing basic social services.
The period of the contract shall be from contract award date to March 31, 2015.
This requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), and the Agreement between Canada and Colombia, Chili and Peru.
