Delivery Dates: Must be delivered, fully installed and accepted
by: 28 March 2013.

Location: The work is to be performed at the Pacific Forestry
Centre at 506 West Burnside Road, Victoria BC.

All vendors must attend a Mandatory Site Visit. See
solicitation for date and time. Vendors must notify the
Contracting Authority by 3:00 pm Pacific Time the day prior to
the site visit, that they will be in attendance.

BACKGROUND

The existing window coverings were installed during the
commissioning of the laboratory in 1963 and with the addition of
the new wing in 1985. The existing blinds are light gage metal
and range in age from 27 to 48 years and are in poor to fair
condition. The Building Management Plan recommended replacement
in 2011.

OBJECTIVES

Remove and dispose/recycle window coverings on the exterior
windows of the 1st and 2nd floor as noted on the room list and
floor plan.
Supply and install replacement shades, including any associated
hardware as required.
The contractor is responsible to measure and confirm the number
and size of the shades and facia required in each of the room
locations listed below.
Delivery, Installation and Acceptance must be completed on or
before March 28th, 2013.
